iGlobal USA, LLC to join the Houston Technology Center as its first International Associate


HOUSTON, Texas (June 19, 2012) – Houston Technology Center (HTC), the largest business accelerator and incubator in Texas, announced today a collaboration with iGlobal USA, LLC, its first HTC International Associate.  The relationship with iGlobal is a development of HTC’s Asian initiatives with Chiba City, Japan.  HTC Asia’s  goal is to provide reciprocal opportunities for US and Japanese companies wishing to accelerate their technologies abroad.

In 2010, the City of Houston signed an agreement for economic cooperation with its Sister City, Chiba during a visit from Mr. Kumagai, Mayor of Chiba.  The City of Houston, Chiba City and the Houston Technology Center are promoting mutual business expansion between Houston and Chiba. 

iGLOBAL Japan, incorporated December 2010, established an office in September 2011 in Chiba City’s business incubator “Chiba Business Support Center”.  iGlobal USA, LLC, offers a host of products focused on IT security including the CrushBox, which is capable of destroying a hard drive in less than 10 seconds by using 3,000 PSI to puncture holes in computer hard drives.  The product has been adopted by many entities, including government and private business throughout Asia Pacific.
